Being able to read what your teamates intentions are and how they play can help strengthen teamplay and helps drasticly in solo-queing. Being aware that your teammate is an aggresive player lets you know to position defensively that game. Knowing how much boost your teammate has based on how they are moving on the field lets you make decisions about your boost management.
A good way to practice is to start paying attention in team matches. Save a replay of a 3v3 match and watch yourself with your own player view. Every 15 seconds pause the game and try to guess where everyone is on the field and how much boost they should have. You can fly around the pitch via spectator mode and check if you are correct.
