After popping the ball into the air, start turtling then jump when the ball almost hits the ground to flick it.
After a jump, turning the car upside down so that it lands on the roof of the car is turtling. Players can score a goal while doing this and get the turtle shot award. A turtle dribble is when a player Push-Dribble the ball while turtling.
While dribbling the ball, hold powerslide and turn 360 degrees. Maintaining the dribble the entire time.
An advanced version of wavedashing but when landing, holding air roll when flipping allows for wavedashing in faster succession.
Doing a small jump and tilting your car forward so that only the front wheels are touching. The person then frontflips, cancels their frontflip and steers to the side they want to rotate to, while boosting. Basically a wavedash but ramming your nose into the ground and canceling the flip. Also known as 180 dashes.
A skill where a player will forward diagonal flip then land on the left or right two wheels whilst proceeding to continuously boost and turn.
Chain dashing is when you wavedash multiple times in rapid succession. It can be used to get to supersonic very quickly. It can put you out of position though.
Having the car stay on the ceiling by turning in a way that keeps enough friction that it doesn't fall.
A form of wavedashing, the hel-jump has the player jump instead of flip when they hit the ground with the use of powerslide and boost to start an aerial that keeps their flip to be used whenever they want. Also known as a Wavejump.
A move where the player pops the ball up for another touch but uses the car's jump to go back down to the ground faster to fake the opponent. Can also be used for freestyling dribbling.
When the ball hits the ground instead of hitting it in the bottom or middle of the ball aim towards the top of the ball and pinch it on the ground.
Wave-Turning is an advanced recovery technique to turn the car. Usually when landing after an aerial, it allows for faster recoveries. It is a mechanic that a lot of higher level players do but either never realise or don't talk about much.
When landing from the air. Point your car slightly downwards.
Use air-roll to point either your front-left or front-right wheel towards the ground. Making sure that wheel hits the ground first.
Turn into the first wheel that hits the ground, it should transfer the falling speed into the turn and give you momentum. Turning too sharp will use up all of that momentum though. You can boost throughout the turn.
When you are under the ball and just kind of 'pop it' by jumping, not so much a new direction, but adding speed to the ball by doing so.
After a jump, turning the car upside down so that it lands on the roof of the car is turtling. Players can score a goal while doing this and get the turtle shot award.
Going inside your own goal until you turn upside down thanks to the ceiling of the goal, resulting in a flip reset used to save a shot
Hitting the ball normally and backflipping after the shot to keep the player's position and be able to hit the ball again.
While turtle dribbling, push the ball up the wall and start air dribbling.
While spikes have the ball stuck to your car, flip right before they let go to flick the ball.
Hitting the teammate in a way to boost them faster to the ball in hoops. Could be used in a normal match.
