Stalling

When to start practicing:
Supersonic Legend.

When expected in-game:
Pro-Player.

Performing a stall is easy. Adding it to a Flip-Reset is hard. Stalling is a specific flip-cancel that removes all of your momentem. If you are in the balls path you can stall and hit the ball to confuse enemys. Stalling is commonly used to perform chain Flip-Resets.

  • Mechanic steps

  • 1. Jump.

  • 2. Hold Air-Roll left/right. (make sure that you have a directional Air-Roll bound)

  • 3. Flip in the opposite direction your directional Air-Roll is. If left, side-flip right.

Chaining Flip-Resets

Chaining Flip-Resets is a way to get multiple Flip-Resets in a single play. After peforming a Flip-Reset a stall is used while underneath the ball to get another Flip-Reset. You can do this as many times as you want as long as you are high enough off of the ground. It is mostly used for Freestyling but can be used in a competetive enviroment. It make the ball very hard to read. It confuses and fakes the opponents as well.

  • Training

  • By now you should be able to setup a flip reset to start practicing stalls.
