Half-flipping is a recovery technique that enables quick and efficient reversal of your car's direction, especially when it's pointed in the wrong way. This technique is invaluable for swiftly recovering from bad positioning and regaining control on the field. Mastering the art of half-flipping, both in the standard and forward variants, is a valuable skill for recovering from unfavorable positions and delivering unexpected plays on the field. It enhances your overall control and adaptability, making it a useful tool for competitive gameplay.

  • Performing a Half-Flip

  • 1. Backflip while angling your car diagonally. This sets the wheels in an upward position.
  • 2. Once your car's wheels are pointing upward, cancel the flip by holding the input in an upward direction.
  • 3. Hold the flip-cancel input until the flip is finished.

The Forward Half-Flip:

In addition to the standard half-flip, there's another technique called the forward half-flip. By dodging diagonally forward and canceling the flip, you can execute an inverted half-flip. This maneuver is ideal for surprising opponents with a counterattack. As it's relatively rare, it can catch unsuspecting players off guard, potentially leading to scoring opportunities or defensive saves.
