Recommended mechanics to know before starting this:
Air-Roll Shots , Complex Aerials

Redirects are advanced passes. When the ball is either cleared or passed upfield with you already in front of the ball. With the ball in the air, Jumping and hitting the ball and redirecting the balls trajectory into the opposing team's goal.

  • Mechanic steps

  • Either Cherrypick or wait for a pass from a teammate.

  • Aerial and hit the ball into the opponents goal. Usually with the bottom wheels of the car.

Diffrence between a pass

Usually during infield passes or clears from a teammate, the player angles a powershot during an aerial to make a shot on goal. This mechanic sounds simple but requires expertice in aerial maneuverability. You could think of it like "redirecting the ball's momentum", and consider how much the direction of the ball changes If the ball does a 180, you aren't really redirecting it, you're entirely using the hit to generate the ball's movement . The motion of the ball after the touch can be broken down into two parts: What came from the ball's momentum before the touch, and what came from the actual touch (impulse)

Cherry picking

Usually during infield passes or clears from a teammate, the player angles a powershot during an aerial to make a shot on goal.
